NEW STREET GLASS STUDIO VISITING ARTIST SERIES
Each year, New Street Glass Studio invites talented artists in the field of glass art to the Worcester area for a long and exciting weekend of exploration and demonstrations. Each visiting artist is given private studio time at New Street for the development and production of their work. They also work alongside our current resident artists and serve as a guest critic during organized critiques for professional development. As a part of the community engagement component of this series, each artist gives an evening slide talk and hot glass demonstration that is free and open to the public. Special weekend workshops are often also offered as an opportunity for community members and glass artists alike from around the country to convene, exchange ideas, learn from top-notch talent, and of course, craft something neat!
