The Clay Studio offers classes in wheel-throwing, handbuilding, sculpture, glazing and firing. Our introductory courses emphasize technical and personal development, while the intermediate and advanced courses seek to stimulate and develop individual creative and technical processes. |

CLAY STUDIOThe Clay Studio occupies over 5,000 square feet and is divided into central studio areas, including studios for faculty, artist-in-residence and rental studios. More than one dozen skylights provide a bright and cheery atmosphere where a range of students, from beginners to professionals, share in their common bond of clay working. The facility is well-equipped and supports a range of work including pottery, tile and sculpture, at a wide range of temperatures and firing atmospheres. |
